Join the Global Implementation Conference in Dublin This May

The Global Implementation Conference (GIC) is taking place in Dublin in May 2015, the first time it has taken place outside of the United States. Early bird registration is now open until the 27th of March.
The Conference will provide a unique opportunity for Europe to host a range of international speakers specialising in the area of implementation, as well as practitioners and policy makers interested in how implementation can enhance services and their work.
The theme of this year’s event is “Implementation for Impact.” A combination of keynote addresses and breakout sessions will allow participants to explore the concepts and practice of implementation, and to consider implications for policy, services, practice and research. Topics for discussion include the infrastructure needed for implementation, developing shared measurement systems, communication and knowledge capture in implementation.
Keynote speakers include Bryan Weiner, Professor in the Department of Health Policy at the University of North Carolina; Stephen Brien, Director at Social Finance in the UK; and Lisa Saldana from the Oregon Social Learning Center. All speakers represent a wide range of implementation expertise and will bring insights from their work in research and practice to trigger new perspectives and spark implementation debate. Early bird registration is open until 27 March and is priced at €400 for two full days of the conference in the Dublin Convention Centre (26 and 27 May). REGISTER NOW.
In advance of the conference, organisers have also planned an Implementation Academy where participants can learn about implementation at an introductory or more advanced level through 3 hour Masterclasses by leading thinkers and practitioners in the field of implementation. Early bird registration for the Implementation Academy is priced at €160 for half a day or €250 for a full day.
Please also note that the European Implementation Collaborative is being launched on Tuesday, 26 May at 4.30pm. Anyone attending the Implementation Academy or the GIC is welcome to attend the launch of the European Implementation Collaborative. We will circulate further information about this event.
