On October 22, 2015, President Barack Obama and law enforcement leaders sat down for a conversation with The Marshall Project as the president embarks on a new effort to reform the nation’s criminal justice system.

The president was joined by Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck and the U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado, John Walsh. Bill Keller, editor-in-chief of The Marshall Project, moderated.
