Dak Lak: $13 million for health and medical positions

Project construction and infrastructure improvements of health care facilities was signed Wednesday in Dak Lak Province (Central), with a total cost of $13 million.


The signatories were the People’s Committee of Dak Lak and the American NGO Atlantic Philanthropies (AP).


Under the project, by 2013, 39 medical and health stations in Dak Lak will be built, 119 more will be rehabilitated, and 184 establishments in Dak Lak will receive new equipment.


Of this total, the funding from AP is almost 7 million.


The project aims to improve the quality of primary health care and facilitate public access to health services, benefitting children, women, poor and ethnic minorities.
