An Intensive Institute for Journalists, November 14-17, 2010 at the University of California, Berkeley. The Graduate School of Journalism and the Warren Institute at Berkeley Law are organizing a four-day institute for working journalists on covering immigration, an issue that has become central to debates over the economy, health care, education and law enforcement. Reporters and editors from traditional and new media are welcome to apply.

Selected fellows will get an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of America’s often-divisive immigration debate and the tools to uncover new perspectives and insights backed by solid research and data. The deadline to submit your application is September 10th.
