Goal

To support phase two of a study on the effects of exercise on functional capacity in the independent elderly. This study will examine the longitudinal effects of the exercise rehabilitation program from phase one on medical, functional, and physiological status. Phase one demonstrated that the exercise rehab program, when given to well elderly, resulted in highly significant improvements in both physiological and functional capabilities.
