Goal

To support the Intergenerational Service Initiatives of the Philadelphia School District’s school reform effort (the Children Achieving Agenda) which encourages utilizing older volunteers in a variety of service and support roles to enhance the academic achievement of children and strengthen the infrastructure of each school in the Philadelphia School District. The purpose of this project is to reduce the kinds of problems faced outside of school that inhibit childrens’ ability to achieve.
