Goal

To provide core support for the Center for Conservation Biology (CCB) in order to allow both continuation and expansion of the Center’s present activities. The CCB was established with three primary missions: 1) to carry out scientific and policy research on negative impacts on well-being caused by human activities, especially those related to population growth and mediated by environmental conditions; 2) to incorporate the results of CCB research into the design of practical natural resource management projects and policies; and 3) to educate professionals and the public on issues of resource policy.
