Lucy Hollis Director of Grants Management

Lucy Hollis is the Director of Grants Management for The Atlantic Philanthropies. At Atlantic, she has overseen more than $350 million annually in domestic and international grantmaking and $3 million annually in employee giving.

As the head of Grants Management, Ms. Hollis ensures the effectiveness and compliance of the foundation’s grant processes, policies, data and grants database system: Fluxx. Additionally, she worked with the Civic Participation Action Fund, a $50 million-dollar advocacy foundation based in Washington, D.C., to design, build and launch its Fluxx grants database system, train staff, and develop the organization’s grant processes and procedures.

Ms. Hollis is an active member of the Grants Managers Network, Technology Affinity Group, and the Fluxx community and has worked actively to promote the use of technology and data to transform the philanthropic sector into a more environmentally friendly, efficient, and dynamic space.

Prior to joining Atlantic in 2008, Ms. Hollis worked as a Compensation Analyst at Radford Surveys + Consulting, a division of AON Hewitt, focusing on compensation packages for executives and board members in the high tech and life sciences industries.

Ms. Hollis is a native of Bedford, New York. She earned a B.A. in Sociology from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and a Graduate Certificate in Strategy & Leadership from New York University’s Management and Systems Master’s program.
