In Viet Nam, the building and upgrading of 800 commune health centres mean doctors are able to help 8 million people, mostly in rural areas, have access to quality primary health care close to home.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Health Department, Da Nang City Health Department, Thai Nguyen Provincial Health Department, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Health Department, Vinh Long Provincial Health Department, Ca Mau Provincial Health Department, DakLak Provincial Health Department, and Yen Bai Provincial Health Department are grantees of Atlantic’s Population Health programme in Viet Nam, which funds efforts to improve the quality of primary health care for underserved populations.
