We strive to advance opportunity and lasting change for those who are unfairly disadvantaged or vulnerable to life’s circumstances.

We have concentrated our grantmaking in seven regions across the globe. Many of our programmes in these countries grew out of our Founding Chairman’s identification of promising opportunities for good-value investment and prospects for transformative impact in Atlantic’s limited lifetime.

The targeted geographic areas funded by Atlantic are Bermuda, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa, the United States and Viet Nam. As a result of our limited life, we made our final grants in Australia in 2011.
