Inez Killingsworth is the Founder and Board President of Empowering & Strengthening Ohio’s People. In the midst of a housing crisis, Ms. Killingsworth helps homeowners avoid foreclosure by negotiating with banks for more favorable terms on mortgages.
Ms. Killingsworth is one of the winners of the 2010 Purpose Prize, which recognizes social entrepreneurs age 60 and older who are using their experience and passion to help address society’s biggest challenges.
Civic Ventures, the organization that administers The Purpose Prize, is an Atlantic grantee.
