Goal
To fund the cost of a study tour by three members of the senior administrative and academic management of the University of the Witwatersrand to study best practice in the development of postgraduate studies at universities in the US, the United Kingdom, Australia and Africa. The findings of the study will inform policy to reform postgraduate studies at WITS in order to promote an inter-disciplinary approach, attract greater numbers of students and prmote employment equity in the academic teaching staff of the university.
