Barnardos is Ireland's largest children's charity, working with over 5,000 children, young people and families all over Ireland each year. Barnardos works with children who face barriers in reaching their full potential - barriers like poverty, abuse and neglect, bereavement or poverty. Their mission is to make Ireland the best place in the world to be a child. They do this by working at a local level with children, parents and families through our Barnardos centres which are throughout Ireland, supporting those we work with by providing additional central services and also speaking out for children though policy and campaigning to ensure that Ireland is a country where all children are cherished equally.
