Director of Grants Management
Lucy Hollis is the Director of Grants Management for The Atlantic Philanthropies. She is based in the New York office.
Heading the Grants Management team, Ms. Hollis ensures the effectiveness and compliance of the foundation’s grant processes, policies and data. In 2012, she worked with her team to migrate from MicroEdge GIFTs to the Fluxx Grants Management system, transforming Atlantic’s offline grant processes into a more auditable, transparent, online space. Additionally, she worked with the Civic Participation Action Fund, a multi-million dollar advocacy foundation based in Washington, D.C., to design, build and launch its Fluxx grants database system, train staff, and develop the organization’s grant processes and procedures.
Ms. Hollis is an active member of the Grants Managers Network and the Fluxx community and has worked actively to use technology to promote the transformation of the grants management space into a more paperless, environmentally friendly and efficient function.
Prior to joining Atlantic in 2008, Ms. Hollis worked as a Compensation Analyst at Radford Surveys + Consulting, a division of AON Hewitt, focusing on compensation packages for executives and board members in the high tech and life sciences industries.
Ms. Hollis is a native of Bedford, New York. She earned a B.A. in Sociology from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and a Graduate Certificate in Strategy & Leadership from New York University’s M.S. of Management and Systems program.
