Elizabeth Cahill Chief Communications Officer

Elizabeth Cahill is the Chief Communications Officer for The Atlantic Philanthropies. She is based in the New York office.

Ms. Cahill oversees strategy and development of Atlantic’s website, social media and other digital communications. In Atlantic’s final phase, Ms. Cahill is focused on efforts to share Atlantic’s story and insights through its online platforms. She also manages several communications grants.

Prior to joining Atlantic, Ms. Cahill was Director of Information Technology and previously Web Producer at the New York Philharmonic. Earlier in her career, she held a number of web and management positions at organizations, including GT Interactive Software, BRIC (Brooklyn Information & Culture) and the Consortium for Workers Education where she oversaw development of a tell-a-friend email tool for Hillary Clinton’s senate campaign and websites for several large unions and nonprofits. She also taught job readiness, family literacy and GED preparation at a homeless shelter for several years.

Ms. Cahill has a B.A. from Georgetown University.
